I met Tolu on the first day of registration for med school. Imagine my excitement to find a fellow Nigerian and someone else passionate about people and traveling. Since then, we’ve been through so much together; we’ve laughed til’ we cried, actually cried, and laughed some more. We’ve shared stories about life in Nigeria, Canada, and how that impacts our lives here in the Czech Republic. I’m genuinely blessed to have met her that day.
Tolu is thoughtful, she doesn’t hesitate to go above and beyond for others and she is a huge source of encouragement and inspiration to me. I’m so thrilled that she’s found such a wonderful partner in Daniel. Seeing them together reminds me that love is truly patient and truly kind. They honor each other and they honor God in so many ways. It’s a privilege to be able to stand by their side on their big day. As they start this journey of marriage, I wish them all the happiness this life has to offer.

Tolu has been an amazing friend and support system ever since we became closer studying for our third year exams. We’d met before but something about that stress-ridden period that is exam season really pushed our friendship along.
She’s the most generous, loyal and hardworking person I know and not to mention, also one of the funniest.

Hello there.
I am Tolu’s friend and I like to think that I am also Dan’s friend. I think this is better than referring to myself as the “third wheel”. I have known Tolu for five years and at times it feels like a lifetime because of all the great experiences that we shared together: all the cooking, dinners, sleepovers, studying, and travelling that we have done.
I first met Tolu at Element. I was already in my second year of Pharmacy and she was just starting her med school journey. After our first meeting, she kind of got dragged to my place for cheesecake and I was surprised at how confident and comfortable she felt that she even asked for a second helping of cheesecake even though we barely knew each other at that point.. Not long after that she started coming to my place (more frequently than I would have liked) and I somehow got used to her being around. This helped me to be more outgoing, better at taking pictures, and starting my own baking business.

You have been such an inspiration through your work ethic and confidence. You even brought me out of my Anime world (not completely though since I still love Anime) and changed me. I became more independent, strong and spiritual thanks to your influence. I am happy that you are getting married, as this is a prayer answered and I believe that God is directing both you and Dan on this new journey. I pray that you will grow more and more each day in love, happiness, and health.

Hey there, my name is Maggie. I am a medical student here in Hradec Králové.
I first met Tolu on my first day of Medical School. As soon as we started chatting, the conversation flowed naturally, filled with lots of banter and giggles. It felt really nice. Fast forward 4 years on and we are still laughing and giggling like the day we first met.
Seeing her grow and transform into the woman that she is today is lovely to see. Now she is getting married and it makes me so happy. Dreams really do come true. I am so glad to be a part of this chapter of her life. Both of you are a lovely couple and truly complement one another.

It might come as a surprise to you, but the first time Daniel and I met wasn’t exactly the happiest moment. It was one of the first days of High School. At that time, I never imagined that we could ever be friends. He gave me a strange nickname and thought that he was so funny. Now, years later, here I am as his best man and he is my best friend.
In my opinion Daniel is not that type of person that comes into a new group of people and instantly becomes the most popular there, but once you get to know him better, you will love him. You will realize how intelligent he is and how knowledgeable he is about almost everything. He is very romantic, with passion for gastronomy and traveling. He is clumsy but this just makes him funnier. He is also an unselfish person who cares for others.
I have so many memories with him and I am thankful that he met such a wonderful woman in Tolu. She loves him despite his imperfections.

Firstly, I would like to congratulate Daniel and Tolu on their engagement and upcoming wedding. I remember when Tolu recounted their first interactions to me. I remember hearing the excitement in her voice when she told me about meeting Daniel. It has been a pleasure to watch that excitement grow into a deep love and understanding. Despite challenges and hurdles, the two of them have continued to grow and learn from it.
Tolu is my older sister and I have so many fond memories of growing up with her; although we would fight at times, as siblings do, Tolu has always been there for me. She has shared joyous moments with me as well as been there through hard times. She has always been there to answer my calls, listen to me rant, hear my amazing jokes and so much more.
I remember one time when I had travelled to Europe and I was alone. I called Tolu every day and spoke to her for hours. Although she could’ve used that time differently, she chose to spend it with me because she empathized with my situation. Tolu is also a very generous and caring person. She constantly put the needs of those around her above her own. She does not just empathize with the needs of others but she does something about it. Tolu and I constantly speak about the days when we will be rich and money won’t be a thing. That being said, Tolu has not waited till that time to be generous. Out of what she has, she gives, and many people have been blessed by her. Finally, Tolu is a loving person and somebody who believes in others. She loves with the entirety of who she is. She strives to love others how God loves all of us. She will always put her 100% into people and believes in them, even when nobody else does. She continues to be an inspiration to me every day and I’m very thankful to have her as my sister.
Before I even met Daniel, I’d heard so many good things about him. Upon meeting him, I saw all those things and more. I remember meeting Daniel for the first time. He and Tolu had driven multiple hours to surprise me and pick me up from the airport in Prague. After getting to know Daniel more, I realized how patient he is. Daniel is one of the most patient people I’ve ever met. In most situations that would drive others crazy, he always seems to handle with a cool head. Beyond this patience, he is also a great leader. They say that before somebody can lead, they have to serve. Daniel serves others with love and kindness, always looking towards the needs of others. I remember when Daniel and Tolu drove hundreds of kilometres to visit me and bring me things for my apartment while I was injured. When they arrived, Daniel was constantly driving us places and he never complained once throughout the entire time. Finally, Daniel is very welcoming. Before I even met him, he already treated me like family. He has helped me in so many ways and been there for me, even as Tolu has and for that, I’m very thankful. He treats my sister with love, kindness and respect and I’m proud to call him my brother.
Both of them have truly been a blessing to one another. I’ve seen the way that they bring the best out of each other and those around them. I pray that they will continue to grow together each and every day and that they will be blessed in their marriage and all facets of life.

My name is Patrik and I am Daniel's childhood friend. I am happy that he has chosen me to be one of his groomsmen. Firstly, I want to mention that he has always been the best friend that I could ever ask for. Since childhood, we have gone through a lot. Sometimes we fought or argued about silly things, but we always came back to each other. He has always been my brother.
I remember when Daniel met Tolu for the first time. He talked about her a lot. Even now, nothing has changed; he still talks about her a lot. They found their fortune between stars that are shining just for the two of them. I hope their love will be so modern to overcome all aspects of this era and so old fashioned that it lasts forever.
